In Windows you can pin your favorite program to the start menu. However in Windows 7 some of the pinned application become non removable ie. they can not be removed or unpinned from the Windows 7 start Menu. For example MY Computer, Recycle bin etc will not show any option to remove them. Here is a simple way to remove the irremovable items.
You have to navigate to the regedit and just delete a registry entry that’s all we want to fix this problem. For that, type regedit in the RUN from start menu and regedit will open up.Now navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerStartPage and you can see a Key named Favorites in the Right Pane. Just delete this entry. Done!

This will remove all the entries or pinned items from the start menu and you have just to re-pin you favorite items .
